Wellbeing at Aldinga Beach Primary School

At Aldinga Beach Primary School, we believe that student wellbeing is at the heart of learning and success. When children feel safe, connected, and supported, they are more confident, resilient, and ready to thrive.

Our Student Wellbeing Leader works closely with students, families, and staff to promote a positive, caring school environment and to provide support when challenges arise.

How We Support Wellbeing

Emotional and Mental Wellbeing

Offering guidance and support to students experiencing emotional or mental health challenges, and connecting families to trusted services and resources when needed.

Attendance Support

Helping children attend school regularly by identifying and addressing barriers, and working in partnership with families to promote positive attendance habits.

Positive Behaviour Guidance
Supporting students to make positive behaviour choices and working with them to address concerns constructively.

Social Skills and Friendships
Encouraging healthy friendships, building social skills, and assisting with conflict resolution when needed.
Family and Community Connections
Partnering with parents, carers, and the wider school community to raise awareness about wellbeing and involve families in programs and initiatives.
Crisis Support
Responding quickly and compassionately to urgent situations that may affect a student’s safety or wellbeing.
