Sparkles the Bear

Sparkles the Bear has become an unexpected – and much-loved – member of Aldinga Beach Primary School. After being found abandoned in a tree outside our grounds, Sparkles was destined for the bin… until our groundsman, Albert, stepped in to give him a second chance at school life. With a good wash and plenty of care, Sparkles was ready for a fresh start.

Now, Sparkles brings joy to students and staff by mysteriously popping up in different places around the school each day. Sometimes he’s dressed up, sometimes he’s caught in a bit of mischief, and sometimes he’s simply enjoying life as part of our school community. Sparkles reminds us to stay curious, kind, and ready for a little bit of fun each day.
