Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to Aldinga Beach Primary School!

I’m so pleased you’ve taken the time to visit our website and learn more about our school. At Aldinga Beach Primary, we are proud to be a community where children are supported, encouraged and celebrated as they grow both academically and personally.

Our school values, Kindness, Respect and Integrity, guide everything we do. You’ll see them lived out each day in the way our students care for one another, the way staff work together, and the way we connect with families and the wider community.

Relationships are at the heart of our school. Every staff member is committed to building strong, positive connections with students, creating an environment where every child feels known, valued and supported. Our approach is student-centred and individualised, ensuring learning is tailored to meet the strengths, interests and needs of each learner.

We have a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, supporting every student to achieve year-level success and build the skills they need for future learning. Our teachers work together through collaborative planning and teaching, building strong foundations so that every child has the opportunity to thrive.

We are also proud of our focus on behaviour education, where student voice plays a key role in shaping expectations and supporting a safe and inclusive school culture. This helps our students learn not just about academic success, but also about responsibility, empathy and making positive choices.

Aldinga Beach Primary School, was first opened in 1856 and was located in the original Aldinga village at the corner of Port Rd and Quinliven Rd. In 1980 the school was relocated to its current site and was officially opened in 1981. Over the years the school has grown and facilities added. Today we are a school of approximately 380 students. We are co-located with Aldinga Beach Children’s Centre. Our school is set within spacious and well-maintained grounds that inspire learning and play. Students enjoy a thriving kitchen garden, new playgrounds, large ovals, a bush tucker garden, and flourishing orchards. Clean classrooms and shared spaces, along with a Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA), a large hall and outdoor classroom, provide flexible spaces for learning, sport and community events.

I warmly invite you to explore our website further, visit us in person, or get in touch with our team if you’d like to know more. We’re always happy to share what makes Aldinga Beach Primary School such a welcoming and vibrant place to learn.

Warm regards,
Amanda Badcock
